How to Make a QR Code for Your Nonprofit

Put a QR code on your print and signage that opens your donation form, volunteer sign-up, or impact page — create it in EZQR, reuse it across campaigns, and track the scans.

What the video covers

  1. Pick your goal — A donation form, a volunteer sign-up, an event registration, or an impact page that shows supporters where their money goes.
  2. Create the code in EZQR — Create a dynamic code so you can repoint the same printed code between campaigns and see scans by time, country, and device. Registered Canadian charities can apply for sponsored dynamic codes.
  3. Put it on print and signage — Donation envelopes, event banners, posters, and pledge cards, with a caption like 'Scan to donate.'
  4. Test before printing — Scan the proof on both an iPhone and an Android and complete a test donation to confirm the flow.
  5. Reuse it campaign after campaign — Repoint a dynamic code from your dashboard for the next drive instead of reprinting, and track which materials get the most scans.
