To remove the Bing logo from a QR code, upload the code above. EZQR reads the link inside it and rebuilds the same code without the logo - same link, same error correction, same grid size - so you can download a plain version as PNG, SVG, or JPG.
Why Is There a Bing Logo in My QR Code?
Because Microsoft's generator added it. Microsoft Edge can create a QR code for any page you have open - right-click the page and choose Create QR code for this page - and Bing has a QR code generator of its own. Codes from the Bing QR code generator come with the Bing logo stamped in the centre.
The logo is branding, not part of the link, and there's no option to leave it out. That's a problem when the code is going on your own flyer, menu, or business card - you're advertising Bing, not you.
How to Get a Bing QR Code Without the Logo
- Upload the Bing QR code. Use the PNG you downloaded from Edge or Bing, paste a screenshot, or drop in a photo of the code.
- EZQR reads the link. The tool decodes the code and shows you exactly where it points, so you can check it's the right page.
- Download the clean code. You get the same QR code without the Bing logo. Download it as PNG, as SVG for print, or as JPG.
Don't have the original code any more? Paste the link into the free QR code generator - it makes plain codes with no logo from the start.
Same Code, Minus the Logo
The new code isn't a lookalike. It holds the same link as the Bing code and is rebuilt at the same error-correction level and the same grid size, so it scans to exactly the same place. Codes you already printed with the logo keep working - you only need the new one for what you print next.
It also scans more reliably. QR codes have built-in error correction, which is why a phone can read past the logo at all - but the logo uses up part of that safety margin. A plain code keeps all of it for scuffs, glare, and small prints.
Rather have your own brand in the middle? Use Customize this QR code after it reads to put your own logo in the QR code instead of Bing's.
