Turn on Require location for any dynamic code and each person who scans is asked to share their device's GPS before the code opens; those who consent are recorded with their exact coordinates instead of the approximate city-level location. It's opt-in per code, off by default, and built for legitimate location verification rather than covert tracking.

You can upload it to us. Every paid plan includes PDF hosting: choose the PDF document code type, upload the file, and the code opens it on any phone - no Google Drive, Dropbox, or website of your own, and no sharing setting to get wrong. Replace the document whenever it changes and the printed code keeps working, and every scan is counted like any other dynamic code. Documents can be up to 10 MB each, with 50 MB of storage per account; past that, keep hosting the file yourself and point a code at the link. One thing to know: uploading needs a plan rather than the 7-day trial - on the trial you can build the code and everything around it, and the upload unlocks when you pick a plan.
