One Scan to Your Whole Audience
Telling people to "search for us on Facebook" loses you customers. They forget the exact page name, end up on a competitor, or just never bother. A QR code for your Facebook page takes them straight to your profile — one scan, one tap, follow.
EZQR generates clean, scannable QR codes for any social link: Facebook pages, Instagram profiles, TikTok handles, LinkedIn pages, YouTube channels, X (Twitter) profiles, and more. Use the free generator on our home page for a static code, or sign up for an editable QR code you can repoint as your social presence evolves.
How to Make a QR Code for a Facebook Page
- Open your Facebook page in a browser. Make sure you're on the public-facing page, not the admin view. The URL should look like
facebook.com/YourPageNameorfacebook.com/profile.php?id=... - Copy the URL from the address bar. Use the clean version —
facebook.com/YourPageName— when possible. It's shorter and produces a tidier QR code. - Paste it into EZQR. The QR code preview generates instantly. Download as PNG, JPG, or SVG and you're ready to print.
- Test the scan with your own phone. Scan with the camera app — make sure it opens the Facebook page (in the FB app if installed, otherwise in mobile browser).
How to Make a QR Code for an Instagram Profile
- Get the public Instagram URL. Your IG profile URL is just
instagram.com/yourhandle. You can copy it from the address bar in a desktop browser, or tap the share icon on your profile in the app and choose "Copy Link." - Paste into EZQR's generator. Same flow as Facebook — paste, preview, download.
- Want it editable? If you might change which social profile to feature later (say you launch a new TikTok or change handles), use a dynamic code so the same printed QR can be repointed without reprinting.
How to Make a QR Code for LinkedIn
- Grab your LinkedIn profile or company URL. Personal:
linkedin.com/in/yourname. Company:linkedin.com/company/yourcompany. Click "Edit public profile & URL" if your personal URL is full of random characters and you want a cleaner one. - Paste it into EZQR. The generator handles LinkedIn URLs the same as any other link.
- Print on business cards or networking handouts. LinkedIn QR codes are gold for trade shows, conferences, and networking events — one scan and the connection request is one tap away.

Common Questions About Social QR Codes
Will the QR code open the Facebook app or the browser?
On phones with the Facebook app installed, scanning usually opens the page inside the app. If the app isn't installed, it falls back to mobile Facebook in the browser — both work, both let people follow.
Can I make one QR code that points to all my social profiles?
Not directly — a QR code points at one URL. But you can point it at a "link in bio" landing page (like a simple page on your own site) that lists all your socials. Or use an editable QR code that you switch between profiles depending on the campaign.
Does Instagram have its own QR code feature?
Yes — Instagram's in-app QR code is great if you only need it inside the Instagram app and you want the IG-branded look. EZQR's QR codes work everywhere (any camera, any phone, any platform), produce a download you can place on print materials at any size, and aren't watermarked or platform-locked.
Can I change my Facebook page later without breaking the QR code?
If your custom Facebook URL changes, a static QR code that encoded the old URL will stop working. With a dynamic editable code, you just update the destination URL in the dashboard and the same printed QR keeps working.
What size should I print a social QR code?
Business cards: 1.5–2cm minimum. Posters and storefront windows: 4–8cm so it scans from a few feet away. Always test the actual print at the actual size before ordering a batch.
