How to Make a QR Code for Event Registration

Put a QR code on posters, invites, and signage that sends guests to your registration page, schedule, or feedback form — create it in EZQR, repoint it as the event moves along, and track scans.

What the video covers

  1. Pick where guests should land — Your registration or sign-up page, the schedule, a map, speaker info, or a post-event feedback form. For paid entry, point guests to your ticketing provider's page — the code links there, it isn't the ticket.
  2. Create a dynamic QR code in EZQR — Dynamic so you can repoint the same printed code from 'register now' before the event to 'leave feedback' after it.
  3. Print it on posters, invites, and signage — Add a caption like 'Scan to register.' Keep clear space around the code so cameras lock on fast.
  4. Test the scan before the event — Scan a proof on an iPhone and an Android, and fill the form out to confirm it lands, before the print run.
  5. Track scans and follow up — See scans by time, country, and device, then repoint the code to a survey or thank-you page once the event ends.
