Home Location QR Code Generator Walkthrough
How to Make a Location QR Code
Make a QR code that opens a spot on the map — point it at an address or exact coordinates, download the code, and print it. Static and free forever, no account.
What the video covers
- Choose address or coordinates — Pick 'Address or place name' for a normal street address or landmark, or 'Coordinates' for an exact pin with no address — a trailhead, festival gate, or parking lot.
- Enter the location — Type the address, or paste the latitude and longitude. To get coordinates, right-click the spot in Google Maps (long-press on mobile) and copy them — latitude first, then longitude.
- Download the QR code — Download as PNG, JPG, or SVG. SVG stays sharp on signs and brochures at any print size.
- Scan-test it on both phones — Modern iPhone and Android cameras read the code and offer to open it in Apple Maps or Google Maps — no separate app needed. Scan-test on both before printing.
