Home QR Code for Posters Walkthrough

How to Make a QR Code for a Poster

Paste your destination link into EZQR, download a vector (SVG) or high-resolution PNG, place it on your poster with a clear quiet zone, and test the scan before printing.

What the video covers

  1. Pick the link your poster should point to — A landing page, menu, signup form, video, social profile — wherever you want people who scan the poster to land.
  2. Paste it into EZQR's generator — On the home page, paste the URL into the generator. The QR code preview updates instantly.
  3. Download as SVG for large posters, or PNG for small ones — Use the SVG (vector) download so the code stays razor-sharp at any size — essential for large-format posters. A 300 DPI PNG is fine for letter-size posters.
  4. Place it on the poster with breathing room — Keep a clear quiet zone (blank margin) around the code and put it where a phone can reach it. Size the code so Code Size ÷ 10 covers the distance people will scan from.
  5. Test the scan before you print the run — Print one proof and scan it with both an iPhone and an Android before committing to the full print run.
